November 2026 Update:
Our Tree of Life is back on display in the newly renovated waiting room at North Shore Health Network’s Blind River site. Among its branches are the names of loved ones, families, businesses, and community groups whose stories are part of local healthcare.
We’re expanding the display to make room for more tributes. If you’d like your leaf placed near another family member’s leaf, let us know when you reach out. We’ll work with you based on available space.

Nominate A Patient Experience Champion
There are many ways to support healthcare close to home through the North Shore Health Network Foundation. Whether you’re making a gift, remembering a loved one, or thanking someone who made a difference in your care, you can choose the option that’s meaningful to you.
Online giving is simple and secure. Donations over $20 are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
One-Time Donation
Make a one-time gift to help fund equipment and patient services. You can direct your gift to a specific NSHN site or where it’s needed most.
Monthly Giving
Choose an amount to give automatically each month by credit card. You can direct your gift to a specific NSHN site or where it’s needed most. To cancel your monthly gift, simply contact the Foundation office.
Donations of $1,000 or more through our one-time or monthly giving programs are recognized on a Donor Board.
In Memory Giving
Remember a loved one with a gift in their memory. The Foundation will let their family know you made a gift in remembrance.
Grateful Patient Giving
Thank a healthcare worker who made a difference in your care. Share a personal message with your gift, and the Foundation will pass it along in a thank-you card. You can direct your gift to a specific NSHN site or where it’s needed most.
Nominate a Patient Experience Champion
Did someone help you or a loved one feel especially cared for? Recognize an NSHN employee, provider, or volunteer who made a difference in the experience of a patient, resident, or client. Everyone at NSHN is eligible, including those who work behind the scenes.
